Ford

Jack Nobbs spent approximately 5 months in Ford at Leamington spar dismantling all the main Disa line machinery & furnaces and manufacturing lines for casting engine parts. Some of the work carried out by Jack Nobbs included machinery packaging, machinery removals and shipping the components to various destinations around the world.

Nestlé Shredded Wheat

Jack Nobbs were contracted to dismantle machinery & ovens in the old Shredded Wheat plant at Welwyn garden city by AAG Investments. The machinery removal took place and then machinery was distributed abroad (mostly to Mexico) and to CPUK Ltd at their various factories worldwide. Jack Nobbs then carried out factory removal work which involved removing all existing items for disposal, which took over 6 months using 10 men!

Hotpoint Washing Machines

Jack Nobbs was asked to carry out the installation of a new automated pressing line to update the old existing machinery. This machinery installation was planned to expand the business at the site in North Wales. The whole job took 2 month and used 6 men.

James Walkers Gasket & Seal Manufacturer

Jack Nobbs helped James Walkers compete with their competitors by carrying out the machinery installation of new vertical hydraulic press machinery in the works. This sped up productivity so was vital in keeping up with competing companies.

Thumps Up

Jack Nobbs carried out a machinery removal job involving removing machinery from Thumps up old premises to a new 10 million pound distribution site with plastic moulding facilities along with a new Billion presses up to 1,000 tons capacity.
